Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech
Pick up at the airport or indicated location in Casablanca at the agreed time. They will visit the Great Mosque, the only one that can be visited in all of Morocco. After the visit, departure to Marrakech, where you will have a first contact with the red city, visiting the DJema el Fna Square. There you will enjoy the shows it offers, and you can even have dinner in the square itself, if you wish. Accommodation in Marrakech in hotel/riad
Day 2: Visit Marrakech with a Local Guide
In the morning guided tour of Marrakech, which gave its name to Morocco. Marrakech is a spectacular city, where there is permanent partying as can be seen in the famous DJema el Fna Square, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For several centuries it has been the most incredible popular theater in the world: snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, actors, fortune tellers… But they cannot forget that their destiny is linked to that of the different dynasties that have been involved in it. happened, as well as its tradition as a political, economic and cultural metropolis that has always dominated the history of the Maghreb. In Marrakech there are countless places to visit, the university, known as Medersa Ben Youssef, the Menara Gardens, the Majorelle Gardens, the Tombs of the Saadians and the Badi Palace. Day 3: Marrakech – Ksar Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
Pick up in Marrakech and start of the route. Departure from Marrakech via the Col Tichka mountain pass, where we will cross the Atlas Mountains, making stops to enjoy the magnificent views that the route has in store for us and to rest or take photos whenever you feel like it. We will continue on the way to Ouarzazate, where after lunch, we continue the route meeting the town of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees. An extensive and labyrinthine oasis, whose lush vegetation covers beautiful secret kasbahs, you can also visit its kasbah. From here we will continue through the Rose Valley (famous for its cultivation) towards the Dades Valley, where we will visit the Dades Gorges. Dinner and night next to the Dades River.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi Dunes
Departure along a road dotted with Kasbahs, you will appreciate that all of them are different. After several stops, we will arrive at one of the strong points of the South: the TODRA GORGES. The Todra River bed has formed a gorge of vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty, it is a climber’s paradise and a unique place. We continue towards the south, free lunch on the way and we will continue towards the DESERT, until we reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga. You will have a free time to climb the dunes for watching the beautiful sunset from the top. After dinner, a Berber show with drums awaits us. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Tour Around Merzouga Desert
They are already in the desert! After breakfast, you will be picked up by 4×4 to explore these lands. Visiting a family of Gnawas or Bambara musicians, descendants of the slaves who came from Black Africa, who will delight you with their traditional music. The entire route will be on a track (130 km), bordering the dunes. You will see the two oases of Merzouga, the MIFISS mines, the desert plateaus and return to the hotel mid-afternoon. They will change the 4×4 for the 8×8 (they are the dromedaries) that will take them to the heart of the desert. They will make a stop to watch the sunset. Upon arrival at the haima camp, an excellent and restorative tea awaits you, an exquisite Berber dinner and all of this accompanied by the music of the tam-tam (drums). You are going to enjoy a unique and unforgettable night, thanks to the large number of stars that populate the desert nights. They will sleep in Berber haimas.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifarne – Fes
Possibility of getting up early to see the sunrise and after breakfast departure along the desert road to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley. We will cross Ifran, the small Switzerland of Morocco, well known for its similarity. They will cross the Cedar Forest, known for its ancient trees and see the Gibraltar monkeys. Estimated time of arrival in Fez in the middle of the afternoon/evening. Accommodation in a hotel or riad in Fes.
Day 7: Visit Fes with a Local Guide
This day is reserved to visit Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco, founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idriss II. They will visit the Medina of Fes el-Bali, one of the largest preserved medieval sites in the world, declared a World Heritage Site more than 30 years ago. After the Medina, the Medersa Attarine, one of the most beautiful Koranic schools in Fes. The next points on the itinerary are the Ennajarine Fountain and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, founder of Fes. Then they will go to the Karawiyin Mosque, belonging to the Karawiyin University, the oldest in history, founded in the year 880 and, finally, they will be able to visit the Medina of Fes Jdid, the new part of the city. Day 8: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Rabat
After breakfast we will leave Fes, heading towards the Atlantic coast to visit Meknes, one of the most important imperial cities in Moroccan territory. There you can visit luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques, as well as some of the most important souks in Morocco. After Meknes, we will head towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an authentic monument declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After the visit, dinner and accommodation in Rabat.
Day 9: Visit Rabat
After breakfast we will visit the most touristic part of Rabat, the Méchouar (the ramps and walls that surround the Royal Palace), the Kasbah of Oudayas and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. Free afternoon to enjoy the medina of Rabat. Dinner and accommodation in Rabat.
Day 10 – Rabat – Casablanca
Free day to rest and enjoy the beach, or one of the numerous music festivals held throughout the year. Depending on your time needs, the time of transfer to Casablanca will be decided, to the point indicated by the clients (hotel, airport, etc…) End of our services of 10 days tour from Casablanca, have a good trip.
